BATURAJA –  PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) selaku anak usaha PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) menerima kunjungan dari Kapolres OKU Polda Sumsel AKBP Arif Harsono, S.I.K., M.H pada Senin (28/8) di Baturaja, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu, Sumatra Selatan, SMBR.

Kedatangannya dalam rangka melakukan survey sebagai rencana dalam membuat program yang dapat bermanfaat dan memiliki nilai lebih serta membangun masyarakat yang produktif dan mandiri secara ekonomi dengan tujuan memberdayakan masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan, tujuan lainnya yaitu mengurangi kegiatan kebakaran hutan dan lahan (Karhutla) yang sering dilakukan oleh masyarakat pada saat musim kemarau.

Didampingi oleh Vice President of Mining SMBR Muhammad Beni beserta tim. Kapolres OKU Polda Sumsel AKBP Arif Harsono, S.I.K., M.H diajak untuk melihat Program SMBR Economic and Education Bee Farm yang merupakan program pemberdayaan masyarakat dan lingkungan memanfaatkan Habitat Budidaya Lebah Trigona yang ada di lahan bekas tambang SMBR.

Vice President of Mining SMBR Muhammad Beni menjelaskan budidaya ini merupakan hasil replikasi yang dihasilkan dari area reklamasi pasca tambang yang diubah menjadi lahan vegetasi dan ekosistem baru, serta menjadi habitat bagi berbagai fauna yang hidup di sekitar areal tambang SMBR oleh Department of Mining (Beeyond Mining), salah satunya adalah lebah trigona.

Menurut Kapolres OKU Polda Sumsel bahwa program yang tepat dan mudah dilakukan oleh masyarakat salah satunya dengan Budidaya Lebah Trigona. “Dengan adanya budidaya lebah yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat harapannya dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga lingkungan dengan tidak melakukan Karhutla yang akan mengganggu habitat dari budidaya lebah khususnya di kabupaten OKU,” kata Arif setelah mencicipi madu lebah trigona.

Arif juga menambahkan “SMBR dapat berbagi pengetahuan (sharing knowledge) tentang bagaimana menciptakan lingkungan yang baik untuk budidaya lebah yang sudah berhasil dilakukan di lingkungan SMBR dan dapat dijadikan standard acuan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat,”.

Sementara itu, Vice President of Mining SMBR Muhammad Beni mengatakan SMBR telah bekerja sama dengan desa binaan Corporate Social Repsonsilibility (CSR) melalui Kelompok Tani Terpadu Desa Laya dan BUMDes Maju Mandiri dalam mengelola budidaya lebah trigona dan pengembangan bisnis madu melalui brand produk Beeyond Honey. PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) invited employees and their families to participate in a blood donation activity which took place at the UPTD Work Training Center for the Office of Manpower and Transmigration ( Disnakertrans) Province of South Sumatra (Sumsel) Palembang City on Monday (28/8).

The activity, which was held by the South Sumatra Province Disnaketrans, was also attended by the Chairman of the PMI for the South Sumatra Province, Hj. Fevrita Lustia Herman Deru and the Head of Supervision for the South Sumatra Manpower and Transmigration Office, Deliar Marzoeki.

Chairman of PMI South Sumatra Province Hj. Fevrita Lustia Herman Deru explained that the PMI of South Sumatra Province is collaborating with various organizations to increase blood donation activities. “This collaboration aims to ensure the availability of adequate blood supply to help the blood stock needs at PMI in South Sumatra Province,” he said.

He also appreciated the participation of all donors and parties who supported the implementation of this activity. “We really appreciate the close collaboration with various agencies in an effort to fulfill blood supplies. This is clear proof that the spirit of humanity can unite various groups for a noble cause,” he added.

Meanwhile, SMBR Senior Manager of Secretarial & Stakeholder Management M. Mu’ammar Syah Reza said, this activity was a form of the company’s participation and contribution in humanitarian activities as well as supplying blood stock for PMI South Sumatra Province. “Through this participation, SMBR is ready to play an active role in supporting government programs in supplying blood needs,” he said.

Imam Pratama Azi, one of the SMBR employees who took part in donating blood said he was grateful to be able to donate blood regularly. Apart from helping together, he feels that blood donation makes his body healthier. “The drop of blood we donate means a lot to our brothers and sisters who need it,” he hoped.(*)

BATURAJA – A big step in the world of cement industry has been achieved successfully. PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) has officially become a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) on December 19, 2022 to strengthen the position of the SOE Cement Sub Cluster in facing an increasingly competitive market.

On Thursday (24/8) in Baturaja, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra, SMBR received a visit from the Assistant Deputy for Infrastructure Services at the Indonesian Ministry of BUMN Hendrika Nora Osloi Sinaga in the framework of monitoring and evaluating the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) achievements of State Capital Investment ( PMN) Fiscal Year 2022. This visit aims to review the results of the integration of SMBR into SIG.

During the visit, Hendrika Osloi Sinaga was accompanied by the Directors of SMBR including Main Director Daconi Khotob, Director (Finance & HR Function) Rahmat Hidayat and Director (Operation Function) Suherman Yahya and SIG Directors namely Operations Director Reni Wulandari.

Hendrika Nora Osloi Sinaga said that his party reviewed the results of the integration of SMBR into SIG, “The Ministry of BUMN greatly appreciates the positive results that have been achieved through the integration of SMBR into SIG. This integration has had a significant impact in improving financial performance, distribution channels and strengthening the cement market position, especially in the South Sumatra region which has become the marketing base for SMBR,” said Hendrika Nora Osloi Sinaga.

The Main Director of SMBR Daconi Khotob in his presentation explained the achievement of the realization of the creation of integrated value or value creation as of July had exceeded the target or Rp. 217.3 billion (157% of the target of Rp. 138.4 billion or 78% of the FY2023 target of Rp. 279 Rp. 198.6 billion, consisting of Realization of Initiative Value Creation according to the Joint Review Document of Rp. 198.6 billion and Realization of New Initiative Value Creation of Rp. 18.7 billion.

“Several new initiatives that are capable of contributing to the creation of integrated value include implementation of optimizing factory maintenance, efficiency in the value of spare part inventory, reprofiling of syndicated loans, cost efficiency of joint insurance tenders,” he said.

He added that the achievement of this integration value was also driven by an increase in employee productivity, this is because around 87 percent of the majority of SMBR employees are millennials. meaning, they are ready to collaborate for the betterment of the company and the holding, and are ready to innovate and adapt to the changes that occur.

This successful integration strengthens SIG’s position as a key player in the cement industry, with SMBR now solidly an integral part. PALEMBANG – In commemoration of the 78th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of SIG held various 17’s competitions which were held in 3 Sites (Palembang, Panjang, and Baturaja ) which starts from 15 – 20 August 2023.

Various kinds of competitions were held, including competitions for cooking fried rice, making up with eyes closed, kicking balls with eggplant, eating crackers, putting pencils in bottles, dancing balloons and closing with a gap competition.

Participants were attended by Ring 1 residents and all SMBR personnel. The competition took place lively filled with laughter from the participants and the audience and the enthusiasm of the participants to win the competition.

Rian Alfiana Assega, Chair of the SMBR Sports and Arts Development Agency, who is also the chairman of the event organizer, explained that the competition was divided into four categories, namely competitions between employees, competitions between residents, and competitions between children and competitions between employees and residents. “The winners competed for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place titles in each category and were rewarded with attractive prizes of course,” said Rian.

M. Mu’ammar Syah Reza Senior Manager of Secretarial & Stakeholder Management of SMBR said that this competition was part of a national celebration that combined the spirit of independence and religion as well as collaboration between SMBR and Ring 1 residents.

The ENSIA 2023 award was received directly by SMBR Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Gili Aprial Braja at the Gumaya Hotel, Semarang, East Java on Thursday (10/8).

With the theme of social-economic innovation based on environmental preservation, through the SMBR Economic and Education Bee Farm Program, PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) received the highest appreciation at the 2023 Environmental and Social Innovation Awards (ENSIA) event organized by PT Sucofindo. This appreciation is given to companies that have successfully implemented Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs around their business unit areas.

The presentation of the ENSIA 2023 Award was also attended by Deputy Minister of the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry Environment (KLHK) Alue Dohong, Director General of Pollution Control and Environmental Damage of the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry Sigit Reliantoro and Commercial Director of PT Sucofindo Darwin Abas.

Gili explained “SMBR Economic and Education Bee Farm is a community and environmental empowerment program through the management of honey from trigona beekeeping. This cultivation is the result of replication resulting from the post-mining reclamation area which was converted into new vegetation and ecosystem land, as well as a habitat for various fauna that live around the SMBR mining area by the Department of Mining (Beeyond Honey), one of which is the trigona bee. Efforts to exploit the success of this reclamation are by carrying out Trigona Bee Cultivation as a fauna that helps pollinate plants and as a producer of honey. SMBR sees this cultivation activity as a new business opportunity that can generate benefits for the environment and society.”

It was further explained that SMBR is working with CSR assisted villages through the Laya Village Integrated Farmers Group and Maju Mandiri BUMDes in managing trigona beekeeping and developing the honey business. This collaboration aims to provide knowledge and skills to the community in the cultivation of Trigona honey, as well as increase public awareness of the importance of sustainable environmental preservation. In addition, this collaboration also encourages an increase in the economic welfare of the community and contributes to increasing income through the sale of Trigona bee honey.

Besides that, Gili would like to thank Sucofindo for the award that has been given. This award is a form of appreciation and success for the hard work of all SMBR employees in applying social innovation in community empowerment programs. The event was organized by BUMN Track on Thursday (10/8) at the Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta.

The TJSL & CSR Award 2023 event was attended by 88 participating companies consisting of BUMN Companies, BUMN Subsidiaries as well as BUMN and BUMN Subsidiaries Tbk.

SMBR managed to win two awards at the same time, including the Most Commited CEO of BUMN on TJSL Economic Pillar award given to the Main Director of SMBR Daconi Khotob and the Three Star (Silver) award for the Economy Pillar category – BUMN Subsidiaries. The award was received directly by the Main Director of SMBR Daconi Khotob accompanied by the Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of SMBR Gili Aprial Braja.

This Bimtek invited resource person Wahyu Hidayat as Head of Task Force 3 of the Directorate of Anti-Corruption for Business Entities KPK RI and moderated by M. M’uammar Syah Reza Senior Manager of Secretarial & Stakeholder Management of SMBR and was attended by all SMBR personnel, Affiliates and Subsidiaries of SMBR.

The activity was started by remarks from Vice President of Performance Management Office SMBR Tarida Tambunan as a representative of Management, he said SMBR is committed to playing an active role in efforts to prevent and fight corruption in the corporate environment, through the implementation of good corporate governance values.

“Apart from that, our efforts to prevent and fight corruption are also through implementing AKHLAK cultural values, implementing integrated risk management, internal control, Whistleblowing System (WBS) reporting media, implementing SNI ISO 37001: 2016 Anti-Bribery Management System and the Gratification Control Program in every operation. the company’s business processes,” said Tarida.
