Semen Baturaja Successfully Wins Two Awards Simultaneously in the 2023 TJSL & CSR Award Event


PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) consistently runs the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL), this was proven at the 3th TJSL & CSR Award 2022 event with the theme “TJSL Program and SOE CSR through the 4 Pillars of Development that creates added value for sustainable companies and MSEs”. The event was organized by BUMN Track on Thursday (10/8) at the Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta.
The TJSL & CSR Award 2023 event was attended by 88 participating companies consisting of BUMN Companies, BUMN Subsidiaries as well as BUMN and BUMN Subsidiaries Tbk.
SMBR managed to win two awards at the same time, including the Most Commited CEO of BUMN on TJSL Economic Pillar award given to the Main Director of SMBR Daconi Khotob and the Three Star (Silver) award for the Economy Pillar category – BUMN Subsidiaries. The award was received directly by the Main Director of SMBR Daconi Khotob accompanied by the Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of SMBR Gili Aprial Braja.
Daconi expressed his gratitude, gratitude and appreciation for the awards given to SMBR. He explained that this appreciation was achieved thanks to the company’s TJSL and CSR programs that have been carried out so far as a form of SMBR’s commitment and consistency in supporting sustainable programs.
“This award event encourages SMBR to continue to support sustainable programs in a comprehensive manner in accordance with the four pillars of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely the Social, Economic, Environmental, and Legal and Governance Pillars,” he said.
He added that the award was obtained thanks to the funding and coaching program for Micro Small Enterprises (UMK) actors. “SMBR is active in carrying out various coaching and training efforts for MSEs, including increasing competence, providing marketing access facilities in promoting partner products and assisting with halal certification,” he said.
“This commitment is in line with SIG’s pillar of sustainability, namely creating value for employees and the community that has a positive impact on the community and the surrounding environment,” explained Daconi.(*)
