ASRRAT is the most prestigious assessment event in the Asian region that recognizes companies with a high commitment to sustainability through high-quality sustainability reports. The assessment in ASRRAT is guided by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, ensuring that the reports prepared reflect transparency and accountability in the company’s sustainability practices.
In his remarks, NCCR Chairman Ali Darwin, described a significant transformation in sustainability reporting practices. From what was initially only done by a handful of companies, sustainability reporting has now become a common practice in the business world.
“The trend of sustainability reporting is getting stronger. KPMG data shows that 75% of the world’s largest companies have done it. In Indonesia, the obligation to report sustainability is increasingly encouraging companies to be more transparent and accountable for social and environmental impacts. The emergence of global standards such as the ISSB (International Sustainability Standard Board) is further strengthening this trend, paving the way for a sustainable corporate future,” said Ali. (*)
