JAKARTA – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) won the Indonesia Industry 4.0 (INDI) Certificate from the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) of the Republic of Indonesia.

The INDI 4.0 certificate was handed over by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry Doddy Widodo to the President Director of SMBR Daconi on Wednesday (24/08) at Menara Bidakara, Jakarta.

The President Director of SMBR expressed his gratitude for the certificates given and appreciated all SMBR people who have supported the Implementation of Industry 4.0. This is a form of the Company’s commitment to continue to innovate and digitize in line with the development of Industrial Technology 4.0.

SMBR is currently preparing for the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based technology. This program is one of the Company’s efforts in preparing the company to transform towards industry 4.0 and is a form of support for the Making BUMN 4.0 Program as part of the Making Indonesia 4.0 Program.

In 2021, SMBR has implemented the Intelligence Process Control System in the pyroprocessing (combustion) process and is planning to continue in the milling process. In addition, this year, SMBR also plans to implement AI-based Predictive Maintenance for main factory equipment.

PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMB) won two awards in the 2022 Traditional Bidar Competition and Ornamental Boat Parade held by the South Sumatra (Sumsel) Provincial Government. This competition was held to celebrate the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia which was held on Saturday (20/08) at Plaza Benteng Kuto Besak, Sungai Musi Palembang.

SMBR managed to bring home two trophies between the 2nd Winner of the Ornamental Boat for the BUMN/BUMD Category and the Favorite Winner of the 2022 Office Decoration and Beauty Contest in the same category.

The award was handed over by the Head of the South Sumatra Province Culture and Tourism Office, Aufa Syahrizal, which was received symbolically by SMBR represented by SMBR’s Vice President Marketing Kartha Kurniadi.

The competition was lively and witnessed by the residents of Palembang. The participants of the Ornamental Boat Competition were attended by all OPDs of City Regency, BUMN and BUMD in South Sumatra.{}

BATURAJA – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) through the SOE TJSL Program distributed assistance in the form of money and basic necessities to fire victims in the Baturaja Old Market area located on Jalan H. Agus Salim, Baturaja Lama, Kec. East Baturaja Kab. OKU on Sunday (21/08).

This fire accident occurred on Saturday (20/08) morning which had scorched 4 Ruko Units.

The handover of this assistance was given directly by the Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Gili Aprial Braja together with Pj. OKU Regent H. Teddy Meilwansyah to the fire victims with a total aid value of Rp. 10,000,000.- (in cash and food packages.

Pj. OKU Regent H. Teddy Meilwansyah., said he was very concerned and sorry for this disaster. “Of course this incident was not what we all wanted, so we remain patient and steadfast in dealing with it, today we are here to provide basic food assistance and other logistics, including a number of compensation funds to victims who were hit by the disaster,” said Teddy Meilwansyah.

“The distribution of this aid is a manifestation of SMBR’s concern that it is always alert and ready to respond to a number of disasters in order to help and ease the burden on the community and the environment affected by the disaster through the SOE TJSL Program.” said Gili.

Concern was not only given after the fire incident, at the time of the incident SMBR also participated in lowering a unit of the company’s PBK vehicle fleet to help extinguish the fire with the OKU District DAMKAR team.

BATURAJA – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) held a Halal Certification Technical Guidance Program (Bimtek) for MSEs fostered by the Baturaja SOE House which was held on Friday (19/08) at the Baturaja SOE House.

SMBR together with the Baturaja BUMN House have played an active role in raising MSEs to improve the nation’s economy. This is a form of the TJSL (Social and Environmental Responsibility) Program that has been carried out by the Company.

This Bimtek program presented speaker Muhammad Bobby S.H as a companion to PPH UIN Sunan Kalijaga, which was attended by 10 UMK Participants fostered by the Baturaja BUMN House.

Bobby gave material to MSE actors, about the importance of having a halal certificate for their products, this is to build consumer trust and loyalty to the products offered with the halal label.

“Halal certificates on these products are expected to guarantee quality and provide added value in order to increase the income of the MSEs fostered by Rumah Baturaja,” said Bobby.

“This program is expected to be able to increase the competitiveness and buying and selling capacity of the MSEs. In the future, we will try for all of our fostered MSEs to get Halal Certification,” said Risal as the Supervisor of the Baturaja BUMN House.{}

LAMPUNG – On Monday (08/08) the signing of the Collective Labor Agreement (PKB) for the period 2022-2024 between PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) and the Semen Baturaja Employees Union (SKSB) in Bandar Lampung, at the office Long SMBR Site.

The event was attended directly by the President Director of SMBR Daconi accompanied by the Director of General & HR of SMBR Gatot Mardiana, the General Chairperson of SKSB M. Ariansyah and the Head of the Negotiation Team from SMBR Heru Rusdiansyah along with all SKSB members who attended the event.

In his remarks, the General Chairperson of SKSB did not forget to express his gratitude and highest appreciation for the current performance of the Board of Directors and management. So that the company is able to survive in the crisis era without reducing the rights that have been given.

SMBR is optimistic that it can continue to grow and even improve its performance. SKSB is ready to assist management in realizing the progress of the company and also the welfare of employees/ti through this Collective Labor Agreement.

The Collective Labor Agreement for the period 2022-2024 was previously discussed in an internal negotiation based on the conditions and interests of the company while prioritizing employee welfare.

In his remarks, the President Director, said that welfare is the main goal of the BOD ranks. However, in an effort to achieve prosperity, employees must first improve their professionalism, productivity and work ethic, in order to improve the company’s performance both in terms of production and profit. BATURAJA – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) held the Inauguration of Durian Gardens and Distribution of Plant Seeds to Adiwiyata Schools in commemoration of World Environment Day which fell on June 5, 2022. This activity was held on Friday (8/7) at the Baturaja Factory Area.
The event was attended by the Director of Production and Development (Dirprod) of SMBR Suherman Yahya, the Head of the Environmental Service of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency (DLH of OKU Regency) who was represented by the Secretary of DLH OKU Regency H. Bahruddin and Adiwiyata School Trustees in OKU Regency.

The inauguration of the Durian Garden was marked by a ribbon cutting by the Director of Prod SMBR and the Secretary of DLH OKU District. Followed by planting durian trees by both parties.
SMBR itself has always been committed to doing reforestation in the Company’s environment. This activity is one of a series of programs that have been carried out by SMBR. This durian plantation uses a silvicultural system in the hope of increasing the biodiversity in the vicinity.

Suherman said this is a form of SMBR’s commitment to continue implementing the reforestation program through the Silviculture System which has been carried out since 2017.

“SMBR has planted more than 10,000 trees in the Baturaja Factory Area which is in line with SMBR’s vision to become the leading Green Cement Based Building Material Company in Indonesia,” he added.

Not only the inauguration of the Durian Gardens, SMBR in synergy with DLH Kab OKU created the “Tree Planter School” Program which is an environmental conservation program from SMBR, this program supports environmental conservation and care through the Adiwiyata School. Adiwiyata School is one of the programs of the Ministry of Environment in order to encourage the creation of knowledge and awareness of school residents in an effort to preserve the environment.

SMBR gave appreciation through certificates of appreciation to five schools that won the title of Adiwiyata School in OKU Regency which had contributed and supported environmental conservation. This activity is also one of the Corporate Social Responsibility programs in the Environmental Sector.

“Not only a charter, we also give Plant Seeds to Adiwiyata School in the form of durian, guava, avocado, tamarind seeds. Hopefully the school residents have a healthy environment and care about the environment,” he concluded.

The Sriwijaya Expo event which is held annually by the South Sumatra Provincial Government this time is deliberately held in conjunction with the VI National Recreational Sports Festival (FORNAS). PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) supports the Workshop on Management and Supervision of Village Finance and BUMNDes held by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IKA) and the Postgraduate Program at Tamansiswa Palembang University. This event was held on Saturday (2/7) at The Zuri Hotel, Palembang City.

Presenting 5 resource persons, namely Nelly Nasnila, Chair of the South Sumatra Province BUMDes Forum, Benjamin Abdurahman, Executive Director of Inter-Regional Cooperation Empowerment (LEKAD), Adi Kurniadi, Public Sector Accountant, IKA South Sumatra Region, and Wahyudi, Competence and Professionalism Development, IKA, South Sumatra Region.

The event was attended by Dewi Yuliani, Director of Technical Planning for Village and Rural Development, Kemendesa PDTT as a Keynote Speech.

This workshop discussed policies, mapping the work program of the Village Government, managing village assets as well as village management and supervision, Village Funds and Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). BATURAJA – The Association of Semen Baturaja Employees’ Wives (IIKSB) held the VI General Conference (MUBES) with the theme “With the New Normalization We Welcome Reforms to Work Better”. This event was held in the Hall of Wisma Ganesha, Baturaja Factory, on Tuesday (28/06).

This event was attended by the entire Board of Directors of SMBR as IIKSB Trustees, all IIKSB Advisors and IIKSB Management for each site as well as IIKSB Members. The Head of Srikandi SMBR, Mrs. Fitria Margareta, was also present at this event.

IIKSB supervisor Mr. Daconi in his speech appreciated all IIKSB management and members who played an important role in supporting their husband’s duties and responsibilities at work so that they could give their best contribution to this company.

On this occasion, in connection with the change in the IIKSB board of directors, the General Chairperson for the 2022-2025 period was elected and Mrs. Irma Adi Oktaviandi was elected as the new General Chair for the 2022-2025 period.

PALEMBANG – In order to improve the quality of public information services in accordance with the mandate contained in Law no. 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) held a PPID Technical Guidance Activity (Bimtek) which took place at the SMBR Kertapati Head Office, Palembang City on Thursday (23/6).

The Bimtek activity was attended by 20 participants consisting of representatives from each SMBR Division. This technical guidance invited two resource persons, namely Rospita Vici Paulyn, Commissioner of the Indonesian Central Information Commission (KIP) and Anne Londa, an Expert on Legal Affairs of the Indonesian Central Information Commission (KIP).

SMBR management is very supportive of this Bimtek activity. Director General and SMBR Gatot Mardiana said that as a Public Company SMBR certainly strives to continuously improve the quality of information disclosure and efforts to build commitments to meet public information service standards accurately and quickly.{}
