Palembang – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR), as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), is distributing BUMN CSR program assistance in the company’s three operational Ring 1 areas, namely Baturaja, Palembang and Lampung.
The total value of the assistance disbursed was Rp. 150 million, the assistance distributed included compensation for orphans, distribution of basic food packages for orphanages and assistance for prayer facilities for mosques.

The assistance was handed over directly by the Vice President (VP) of SMBR and the SMBR Corporate Secretary Responsibility Team including VP of Operation Adi Oktaviandi, VP of Research & Engineering Eko David Irawan, VP of Mining Muhammad Beni accompanied by the CSR Team in Baturaja.

Assistance was received directly in Baturaja by Sukajadi Village Head, Air Gading Village Head, Talang Jawa Village Head, Saung Naga Village Head, Tanjung Agung Village Head, Batu Kuning Village Head, Pusar & Kades Laya Village Head as well as As Syifa Orphanage, Mustika Orphanage, An Nur Muhammadiyah Orphanage and As Saniyah Orphanage. In Palembang by RT 033, RT 034, RT 035, RT 036, RT 038 & RT 12. In Lampung by Waylunik Sub-District & Pidada Sub-District and the entire community who also attended.

The exhibition will last for four days from 15 to 18 June 2023 in the front yard of the Palembang Mayor Kambang Iwak’s official residence. Show 75 stands displaying various products from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Palembang area, one of which is SMBR.
