Semen Baturaja Held Virtual Eid al-Fitr 1442 H Gathering Event

PALEMBANG – The Company of Semen Baturaja held virtual Eid al-Fitr 1442 H gathering through Zoom and Live Streaming Youtube in Monday, 17 May. This is the second gathering event to be held virtually in due to last and current year’s Covid-19 pandemic.

The gathering was participated by the Board of Commisioners and Directives and also the employees of SMBR. The theme for this year’s gathering is “Strengthen Unity and Companionship through Gathering”. The theme was picked accordingly to the existing tradition in Indonesia, which is Halal bihalal gathering; a special occasion where participants, consisting of families and relatives, meet up and forgive past wronging with each other. It is a tradition held by Muslims during Eid al-Fitr.

The event was started by greetings from the Board of Commisioners and Directives and then continued with Eid al-Fitr Video Greeting and also testimonies from employee representatives from various formation levels. Though the event had to be done virtually yet again, the positive message of this gathering can still be conveyed upon to create harmony among people.{}
