Closing the Year, Semen Baturaja Holds the Final Cement Delivery Event in 2023 and the First in 2024

BATURAJA – Marking the end of 2023, a number of achievements and awards have been achieved as a result of the company’s positive performance. As an expression of gratitude, PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) held a ceremonial event for the final cement delivery in 2023 and the first cement delivery in 2024 with the theme “Together For Better”. This event was held at the Wisma Ganesha Baturaja Factory Hall, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra on (31/12).
The event was attended by the entire SMBR Board of Directors, including Main Director Suherman Yahya, Operations Director Muhammad Syafitri and Director (Finance & HR Function) Rahmat Hidayat and attended by all SMBR employees at the Baturaja site.
This activity was carried out as a form of year-end performance achievement and a reflection of operational performance throughout 2023.
In his speech, the Main Director of SMBR, Suherman Yahya expressed his pride in the extraordinary achievements during 2023. “This achievement cannot be separated from the cooperation and solidarity of all SMBR people who have made the best contribution to the company. “In 2024, we will continue to improve our performance, improve business processes and preserve the environment by adhering to sustainable business processes,” he said.
Apart from these activities, SMBR also organizes One Day Sport which aims to improve the health and fitness of employees to adopt healthy living through sport. This event is held at the SMBR Sport Center in Baturaja.
Not only that, SMBR also held an event for reading the holy verses of the Koran, Tausiyah, and Joint Prayer as an expression of gratitude for this year’s achievements and prayers and hopes for the year to come.
He added that all SMBR personnel are expected to continue to be enthusiastic to face challenges in 2024 and improve performance in all business processes. “Let’s increase synergy and collaboration to better achieve common goals in the future,” Together For Better,” concluded Suherman. (*)
