BATURAJA – PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) held a virtual Gathering and Halalbihalal event on Wednesday (17/4) with the theme “Understanding the Purity of the Heart in Gatherings”. The event was attended by subsidiaries within the SIG Group including PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR).

At SMBR itself, the event was witnessed in three SMBR operational areas, namely Palembang, Panjang and Baturaja. The event which was held in Baturaja, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra was attended by Commissioners and Directors including Main Commissioner Alex Iskandar Munaf, Commissioner Hadi Daryanto then Main Director Suherman Yahya, Director of Finance & HR Rahmat Hidayat and Director of Operations Muhammad Syafitri as well as all employees/ti located throughout the operational area.

SMBR Main Director Suherman Yahya, in his speech invited all SMBR people to forgive each other, strengthen bonds of togetherness and build a stronger spirit of solidarity and cooperation within the SIG Group.

“I say to all employees and management who have contributed to making Semen Baturaja a progressive and successful company, let’s together maintain the spirit of togetherness and dedication in carrying out our respective duties and responsibilities,” said Suherman.

SIG President Director, Donny Arsal, gave an important message to all SIG Group people, he invited them to continue improving the company’s performance amidst increasingly competitive competition and an uncertain global economic situation. Despite this, SIG was able to maintain and strengthen its position as the market leader in the cement industry in the country.

“The thing that makes us strong is of course the first thing is coordinating and communicating to create collaboration and we also need full support from all SIG Group people to face difficult situations together amidst the existing economic challenges,” he said.

Apart from that, SIG President Commissioner Budi Waseso, reminded all SIG Group people to be grateful for what they have and build enthusiasm with solid cooperation for the company’s progress. “Hopefully this will bring blessings to all of us, in the future our enthusiasm will be built to advance the Semen Indonesia Group,” said Budi.

The event then continued with a friendly event and greeting moments between employees and management in various operational areas.

Apart from that, Vice President of Corporate Secretary SMBR, Hari Liandu, said that the halalbihalal tradition is not just about forgiving each other and meeting face to face, but also increasing synergy, strengthening relationships between employees and management internally and in the holding group.

PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) received an award as The 2nd Best State Owned Enterprise (SOE) Subholding in the 13th Infobank-Isentia Digital Brand Recognition 2024 event held by Infobank Media Group at Shangri – La Hotel, Jakarta on Monday (1/4). The award was received directly by SMBR Vice President of Corporate Secretary, Hari Liandu.

The award received by SMBR was for the success of the innovation and digital transformation programs carried out by the company.

Hari Liandu said this award was proof that the digital transformation carried out by SMBR was running optimally in accordance with the era of digitalization and industrial revolution 5.0. “SMBR has been carrying out digital transformation since 2019, starting from implementing a leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system based on System Application and Product In Data Processing (SAP) to integrate the company’s increasingly complex business processes,” he said.

Apart from that, Hari added that the digitalization implemented in the company covers a number of areas, including production, distribution, financial systems, procurement systems, customer service and HR/HR development and management systems.

“Business processes become faster, financial systems and procurement systems become more efficient and the reliability of factory operations increases with AI-based technology. Apart from that, we also utilize digital platforms to strengthen company brands and product brands through social media, company websites and news portals. so that customers get to know the company,” he explained.

PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) received the Green PROPER Certificate Award for the 2022 – 2023 Period from the Indonesian Ministry of Environment & Forestry to the Baturaja Factory which was handed over by the Provincial Environment & Land Service South Sumatra (DLHP South Sumatra Province).

This certificate was handed over directly by the Governor of South Sumatra Agus Fatoni to the Director (Operations Function) of SMBR Muhammad Syafitri at Griya Agung, Palembang City on Friday (29/3) at the 2022 – 2023 PROPER Certificate Handover event. Apart from that, SMBR also received a Blue PROPER Certificate for Kertapati Packing Factory.

This award is proof of SMBR’s commitment to implementing an environmental management system and carrying out sustainable social responsibility. (*)
