SMBR Porseni 2023 Event to Strengthen Synergy and Collaboration Between SMBR Personnel

PALEMBANG – In strengthening the synergy and collaboration between Semen Baturaja personnel, PT Semen Baturja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) held the 2023 Semen Baturaja Sports & Arts Week (PORSENI SMBR) with the theme “SPIRIT OF UNITY IN HARMONY AND COLLABORATION”. The opening of the 2023 SMBR PORSENI was held at the SMBR Sport Center Futsal Field on Saturday (22/7) which was lively and spectacular.

The opening ceremony of PORSENI SMBR 2023 was attended by all Vice Presidents and Senior Managers of SMBR, Directors of Subsidiaries & Affiliates, Advisors, General Chairmen & Management of the Semen Baturaja Employee Wives Association (IIKSB), General Chairperson of the Semen Baturaja Employees Union.

The opening ceremony was started by a line of athletes from all contingents from 5 Sports & 3 Arts branches, sequentially entering the field in alphabetical order, starting with the E-sport athlete contingent and ending by the Bporkes Committee Contingent as the organizer who also received a rousing welcome.
The next event was remarks from the Director of Operations Function Suherman Yahya, in his remarks he said that SMBR management was very committed to supporting all forms of positive progress for the company in the arts and sports sector which was organized by BAPORKES SMBR. Increasing Synergy and Collaboration.

“On behalf of the management of SMBR, we express our appreciation and gratitude to all parties who participated in organizing this event, as well as to all PORSENI participants, have a good time competing while prioritizing fair play and sportsmanship,” said Suherman.

Furthermore, remarks from the General Chairperson of the Semen Baturaja Sports, Spirituality and Arts Development Agency (Baporkes), Ryan Assega, in his report said that the SMBR PORSENI was attended by 8 contingents with a total of 588 athletes. PORSENI SMBR will compete in 5 sports & 3 arts and fight for 180 gold medals, 180 silver medals, 180 bronze medals.

“The 2023 SMBR PORSENI is a gathering event between SMBR people, and a momentum to promote the spirit of togetherness among SMBR people. In addition, the inauguration activity for the completion of the tennis court renovation was symbolically inaugurated by signing the inscription and cutting the ribbon by the Director of Operations Function of SMBR Suhermah Yahya.
