Increasing Synergy, Semen Baturaja Holds Friendly Badminton Match with BNI

PALEMBANG – The Spiritual Sports and Arts Advisory Board (BAPORKES) PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) together with PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) Badminton Club Palembang held a friendly Badminton match between BUMN. This friendly match was held at the SMBR Sport Center Badminton GOR – Tirta Garden Complex, Palembang, Thursday (07/09).

The participants looked very enthusiastic about taking part in this match, it was seen that from the start of the match they always presented their best game.

Chairman of the Semen Baturaja Badminton Association (PBSB), Yudhistira, as the initiator of this activity, said that the aim of this exhibition was not only to strengthen ties and cooperative relations between the two companies, but also to foster the cultural values of AKHLAK, togetherness and collaboration among BUMN people.

“This badminton match provides an opportunity for participants to exchange information and form new relationships that can be useful in the future,” he said.

Meanwhile, BNI Palembang Acting Branch Manager Wulan Kurnia expressed his gratitude for holding this match.

“This competition builds networks and increases collaboration for the two companies, both SMBR and BNI,” explained Wulan.

SMBR VP of Corporate Secretary and BAPORKES supervisor Basthony Santri said that sports activities can create work-life balance for SMBR employees so that they can improve employee and company performance in the future.

“I hope that every activity held by BAPORKES can continue to improve relations between organizations, increase individual skills, and foster a spirit of teamwork and have an impact on improving company performance,” he concluded.(*)
