Consistently Maintaining Product and Service Quality, Semen Baturaja Achieves the 2023 SNI Award Silver Rating

JAKARTA – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) has once again made an achievement in the 2023 SNI Award event. The event organized by the National Standardization Agency (BSN) was held at the Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta on Thursday (16/11) at the “Awarding of the SNI Award 18th National Award of Indonesia 2023” with the theme Standardization for Sustainable Economic Growth.

In accordance with the company’s vision of “Becoming the Leading Green Cement Based Building Material Company in Indonesia”, SMBR consistently provides quality products for customers and in accordance with Indonesian National Standards (SNI).

SMBR succeeded in bringing home the SNI Award with a Silver rating for the Large Organization Category for Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Health, Textile, Energy and Mineral Resources Sector Products. The award was handed over by Member of Commission VI DPR RI Subardi as the 2023 SNI Award Jury to SMBR Director (Operations Function) Muhammad Syafitri.

SMBR Director (Operations Function) Muhammad Syafitri expressed his pride in this achievement. “SMBR continues to focus on innovation and improving product quality to ensure customer satisfaction and positive contributions to sustainable development. “This success encourages SMBR to continue to develop and have a positive impact on stakeholders and the environment,” he said.

Meanwhile, Head of BSN Kukuh S. Achmad said the SNI Award is an appreciation given by the government of the Republic of Indonesia to business actors and organizations that consistently implement Indonesian National Standards (SNI). “For this reason, it is hoped that the SNI Award winners can become role models for Indonesian industry to implement standardization and conformity assessment in realizing sustainable organizations,” explained Kukuh.
