Baturaja Semen Commissioner Working Visit to Palembang Office: Ensuring Supply Preparation for Semester II/2024 Performance

BATURAJA – In an effort to ensure operational readiness and improve company performance in Semester II/2024, the Commissioner of PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR), Inosentius Samsul, paid a working visit to the SMBR Office in Palembang on Tuesday (13/8). During his visit, he was accompanied by SMBR Main Director Suherman Yahya and staff.
This visit has the main focus on checking the Distribution Center (DC) in Palembang, which is an important distribution center for the company in ensuring Semen Baturaja products can be distributed optimally to various marketing areas. DC Palembang is expected to be the spearhead in improving product distribution to be more efficient and effective in Semester II/2024.
On this occasion, Inosentius Samsul conveyed the importance of thorough preparation and improvement in every aspect of the company’s operations. “We must ensure that all elements of the company work optimally to achieve the targets set in Semester II/2024. This visit is part of our commitment to improve performance and ensure better distribution readiness,” said Inosentius.
Apart from that, this visit was also a moment to review the strategies that the company will implement in facing challenges in the second half of this year.
SMBR President Director Suherman Yahya emphasized that the company is making various adjustments and innovations to improve performance in Semester II/2024 and consolidate with the parent company SIG. “We realize that performance results in Semester I/2024 still need to be improved. Therefore, we are focusing on strengthening distribution and optimizing production to achieve better targets in Semester II/2024,” explained Suherman.
This visit marks Semen Baturaja’s commitment to continue to improve performance and ensure that all assets and resources owned by the company are used optimally. With the steps taken, Semen Baturaja is optimistic that it can achieve better results in the remainder of 2024. (*)
