JAKARTA – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR), a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), has once again achieved national recognition by winning two awards at the prestigious TOP DIGITAL Awards 2025, organized by It Works Magazine. SMBR won two awards: TOP Digital Implementation 2025 #Stars 4 for Companies and TOP CIO on Digital Implementation 2025, which was awarded to SMBR’s Director of Finance & HR, Rahmat Hidayat.

The awards were received by Rahmat Hidayat, accompanied by SMBR’s Vice President of Accounting & Finance, Doddy Irawan, at the TOP DIGITAL Awards 2025 ceremony held on Thursday (December 4) at the Raffles Hotel, Jakarta.

The TOP DIGITAL Awards are given to companies and institutions deemed to have successfully demonstrated strong digital transformation performance, based on qualitative and quantitative indicators. The assessment focused on the effectiveness of digital innovation in improving business performance, strengthening competitiveness, and providing more responsive services to customers and the public.

Rahmat Hidayat expressed his appreciation for this award. “This award reinforces our belief that the digital transformation we have built continues to have a real impact on improving the company’s operational performance and services. Digitalization is not just a tool, but has become part of the work culture at SMBR,” he said.

SMBR’s success in winning these two awards is driven by the company’s commitment to strengthening its digital transformation, which began in 2019 after implementing SAP ERP. The system continues to be optimized so that all business processes are more integrated, accurate, and based on real-time data.

SMBR’s digital transformation is further solidified through system connectivity between the company, holding company, and distributors, integrated within the SMBR digital platform. This integration ensures a more synchronized supply chain, more timely distribution, and allows for transparent sales monitoring down to the store level.

Internally, SMBR has developed the Easy Access application, a mobile application that simplifies employee administration and the delivery of company information. This application enhances the effectiveness of HR services while strengthening a digital work culture within the company.

Strengthening IT governance is also a key foundation. The 2019 COBIT assessment in 2022 showed that SMBR’s IT Governance and Management process had reached Maturity Level 3.68 (Defined Process), indicating that IT standards, policies, and procedures have been documented and consistently implemented across most units.

Doddy added that the various digital innovations implemented are the result of collaboration across SMBR teams. “SAP integration, strengthening the distribution system, and developing internal applications are concrete steps we are taking to build a company that is increasingly adaptive, efficient, and competitive. We will continue to maintain IT governance standards so that this transformation provides sustainable added value,” he concluded.

This achievement underscores Semen Baturaja’s commitment to maintaining the sustainability of its digital transformation, in line with the company’s efforts to improve operational excellence and service quality for all stakeholders. (*)
