Launch of Indonesia Infrastructure Research & Innovation Institute (I2RI) & Indonesia Infrastructure Learning Institute (I2LI)

JAKARTA – PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk (SMBR) together with 9 other BUMN Infrastructure Cluster signed the MoU Indonesia Infrastructure Research & Innovation Institute (I2RI) which was conducted virtually at the Launch Event of Indonesia Infrastructure Research & Innovation Institute (I2RI) & Indonesia Infrastructure Learning Institute (I2LI) held Wednesday (30/6).

The event was opened by Deputy Minister of BUMN II Kartika Wirjoatmodjo together with Deputy Assistant for IT of the Ministry of BUMN Imam Bustomi and was also attended by Director of Human Capital and Development WIKA Murysid as Coordinator of I2LI. Furthermore, the exposure from the Director of Institutional and Construction Resources, Director General of Construction of the Ministry of PUPR Ir. Nicomedus Daud, M.Si.

The submission of the I2RI MoU Signing was carried out by SMBR Daconi’s Director of Production & Development and Director of Engineering & Project SIG Tri Abdisatrijo followed by the Signing of 8 other BUMN Infrastructure Cluster.

Before the establishment of I2RI, indonesia Cement Research Institute (ICRI) consisting of SIG and SMBR which was inaugurated in November 2020, there have been many products, research and innovations that have been produced by ICRI.

To strengthen the synergy of BUMN clusters aimed at developing product research and innovation, the establishment of Indonesia Infrastructure Research & Innovation Institute (I2RI) as a replacement for ICRI consisting of SIG and SMBR as Sub-Cluster Semen Building Material and 8 other BUMN Infrastructure Cluster as Sub Cluster Construction.

The same speech was also carried out the launch of the Indonesia Infrastructure Learning Institute (I2LI) which had previously been signed by the MoU on Thursday (3/6). {}
