Commemorating National K3 Month 2025, Semen Baturaja Invites All Parties to Increase K3 Awareness

BATURAJA – In order to commemorate the 2025 National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Month, PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) held various activities to increase awareness and understanding of the importance of K3 in the work environment. With the theme ‘Strengthening Human Resource Capacity in Supporting the Implementation of the K3 Management System (SMK3) to Increase Productivity’.

To enliven this commemoration, SMBR held a number of competitions and activities involving all elements of the company. The following are some of the activities held:

• Catch the Safety Moment Competition (Photography)
• Scaffolding Assembly and Dismantling Competition
• Blood Donation Activity in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI)
• Safety Rescue Competition
• Ranking 1 Competition Regarding K3
• National K3 Month Seminar

As part of ongoing efforts, SMBR Operations Director Muhammad Syafitri explained that the company continues to strengthen the implementation of the K3 Management System (SMK3) in all of the company’s operational activities.

“This strategic step is not only aimed at ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, but also optimizing operational effectiveness and building a responsive and proactive work culture in managing K3 risks,” explained Syafitri.

In his remarks at the 2025 National K3 Month Roll Call held at the Baturaja Factory on Tuesday (15/1), Muhammad Syafitri said that this commemoration is an important momentum to remind all parties of the strategic role of K3 in supporting productivity and work welfare.

He also emphasized the importance of cross-party collaboration in building a safe work environment. “K3 is not only the responsibility of the company, but also all employees and work partners. Through this activity, we want to build collective awareness that safety is a top priority,” he added. (*)
