Semen Baturaja Receives Visit from Sucofindo, Building Sustainable Collaboration

PALEMBANG – PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) as a subsidiary of PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) received a visit from PT Sucofindo, a BUMN subsidiary engaged in certification, inspection, supervision, testing and assessment services in Indonesia.

The arrival of PT Sucofindo, led by Main Director Jobi Triananda Hasjim, was welcomed by SMBR Main Director Suherman Yahya on Friday (16/2) at the SMBR Head Office, Palembang City, South Sumatra.

This meeting was also attended by SMBR Directors, namely Director (Finance & HR Function) Rahmat Hidayat, Operations Director Muhammad Syafitri and accompanied by the Vice President and staff.

SMBR Main Director, Suherman Yahya, welcomed this visit and hoped that it could strengthen good and sustainable cooperation between SMBR and Sucofindo.

“SMBR’s synergy with Sucofindo has been established for a long time. We hope that this synergy will have a sustainable positive impact for both parties. Through the services provided by Sucofindo, this collaboration helps us achieve national to international standards in order to increase consumer confidence in SMBR products , because we continue to prioritize and improve quality, quality and environmental preservation,” said Suherman.

Meanwhile, the Main Director of PT Sucofindo, Jobi Triananda Hasjim, said that apart from being a friendly visit, this visit also discussed various aspects related to inspection, certification and maintaining the quality of SMBR products.

“Our arrival at SMBR is to build sustainable collaboration and strong synergy between Sucofindo and SMBR. We have issued many services in the field of certification, including SNI/ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) based on PP Number 50 of 2012 and currently in the certification process, namely SNI/ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System,” said Jobi, former Main Director of SMBR.

He explained that this is Sucofindo’s commitment to continue to support industry in Indonesia with the best inspection and certification services that Sucofindo provides, as well as collaborating in developing technology and innovation to increase the competitiveness of Indonesian products in the global market.
