Semen Baturaja Won The Zero Accident K3 Award From The Ministry of Employment Republic Indonesia

Semen Baturaja once again won an award for its achievements in implementing the Work Safety Program (K3). The award was received symbolically by the Vice President of Safety, Health & Environment (VP SHE), Jogy Alpha Mediarta Gumay, Monday (21/4).

The Baturaja factory reached 6,335,307 Zero Accident Working Hours, from June 6, 2016 to December 31, 2018. The Lampung factory reached 2,946,820 Zero Accident Working Hours from January 1, 2012 to January 31, 2019. Whereas the Palembang Plant reached 3,859,490 Zero Accident Working Hours from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2018.

In addition, Semen Baturaja also proactively fulfills its obligations, reporting, and documentation to BPJS Employment. Every year, the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) awards the Occupational Safety and Health Award (K3).

In this year’s K3 Awards, the zero accident award was awarded to 1,052 companies. The SMK3 award is given to 1,466 companies. The award for the HIV / AIDS prevention program at the workplace was given to 172 companies, and the best K3 coach award for 17 governors.

Hopefully, this K3 award can motivate companies, local governments, and workers in implementing K3.
